Dear Mahvash Mossaed,
The most curious if not purely serendipitous event occurred tonight as the flyer from the Reading you gave at the Borders book store in Orange, California on Sept. 23rd fell out of some lost and distant file. This was the reading where you may have possibly met, I believe, my quite close colleague Dr. Jerome Block, who had sent me a copy of the announcement. Quite the remarkable event. I continue the work Jerome and I began together, at times still getting his advice and input even under the circumstances, shall we say. I was just wondering about the import of this happening, if there were any. Although I participate in Slam Poetry for many years, it does not measure up to what I have just read of yours.
Greetings from Jerome. He is doing well of course. I mentioned your name and he replied with a very very cordial smile.
Best wishes,
Steven Evans
