Jimmy Page, the official autobiography by Jimmy Page, was released on October 14, 2014 by Genesis Publications. It is a “coffee table book” which contains hundreds of photographs and their accompanying captions. I actually picked up the book the other day when visiting a friend’s house. I flipped through its pages rather quickly, reminding myself that I should definitely purchased the book for myself. Unfortunately, when I made the trip to the book store to buy it, in my utter disappointment, I found out that they were completely sold out and they didn’t know when they would have a reprint of it.

I have always loved Led Zeppelin, and I have always especially been sort of secretly in love with Jimmy Page, the guitarist and mastermind behind the magic of the band. Their music is completely timeless. This group’s amazing music is still being played today and probably will be for many, many more years to come, considering their fan base includes people who are 16-years-old and people who are 60-years-old. Of course, Jimmy Page, being the pioneer and the producer of the band, without a doubt the best technical guitarist in the world; he absolutely has no competitors there. Just the other day, I was watching a video of Led Zeppelin being honored at the Kennedy Center for being the best band ever in the world –  even better and bigger than the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. I began thinking to myself that my own personal experience when he plays his guitar is as if he is taking me to this overwhelming, out-of-this-world, and out-of-body experience. I can easily say that the sound of his guitar is a stairway to Heaven.
