My friend, Sandra, who lives in san Francisco, had called one day to tell me that she and her daughter were driving from San Francisco to Los Angeles. She asked if they could stop by on their way and spend the afternoon with me. Her daughter, Stephanie, was about to be married. She recently had her wedding shower, to which I was invited but was unable to attend. I had already bought her a wedding shower gift. I thought I should also surprise her with a little white wedding-like creation to welcome her further. I looked amongst all the fabrics, table cloths, and draperies that I had once used and now kept them in a trunk for storage. I came up with this table – a little celebration in white to enjoy while we girls chatted, caught up, and exchanged gifts.
